Scholarship Program Terms & Conditions

2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age (or attain 18 years during CPL completion)
• Must be proficient in English
• Must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics
• Must obtain DGCA Class 2 and Class 1 Medical certification
• Must be an Indian citizen
• Must hold a valid Indian passport with minimum 2 years validity
• Must submit all required documents for DGCA, visa, and training processes

The Institute reserves the right to assess additional eligibility criteria at its discretion.

3. FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

• A refundable deposit of ₹80,000 is mandatory for program enrolment
• The Cadet must be financially capable or eligible for a bank loan for flight training
• If the Cadet withdraws, or fails to proceed with flight training within the specified timeline, an additional ₹60,000 charge may be levied
• All financial commitments must be honoured as per program timelines

4. TRAINING & CURRICULUM

Ground training includes:

• Air Navigation
• Meteorology
• Air Regulations

The Program also includes:

• 5 hours of simulator training
• Access to study materials / e-books

The Institute reserves the right to update or modify the curriculum in line with aviation standards.

5. FLIGHT TRAINING REQUIREMENT

• Cadets must commence flight training within 240 days of ground training start date
• Flight training shall be undertaken at partner organisations designated by the Institute, including but not limited to:
  • Airmanship Aviation Academy (India)
  • The Aviator Institute (Tunisia)
  • Professional Aviation Training Academy (Malta)
• Cadets must complete full training with the assigned organisation
• All flight training fees are the responsibility of the Cadet

Price Variation Clause

Training costs may vary due to:

• Fuel price fluctuations
• Foreign exchange changes
• Regulatory revisions
• Operational or global economic factors

6. ATTENDANCE & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

• Minimum 95% attendance is mandatory
• Cadets must maintain punctuality and discipline
• Cadets must attend all tests and evaluations

The Institute reserves the right to terminate enrolment for misconduct or non-compliance.

7. LEGAL & ETHICAL COMPLIANCE

Cadets must:

• Not engage in illegal activities
• Not consume intoxicating substances during training
• Not falsify documents or information
• Comply with laws of India and any training country

8. SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY

• Cadets are responsible for their personal safety and conduct
• Any damage to Institute property will result in penalties
• Accommodation, food, and transportation are the Cadet's responsibility

9. REFUND POLICY

Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:

• 100% refund in case of DGCA Class 2 or Class 1 permanent unfitness (as per DGCA certification, within applicable timelines)
• Deposit refund (up to ₹80,000) will be processed after 365 days from flight training commencement, subject to full compliance with program and payment terms

10. DOCUMENTATION & PROCESS SUPPORT

The Institute will assist with:

• DGCA procedures (pre & post flight training)
• Visa guidance and documentation

All required documents must be submitted promptly by the Cadet.

11. PERFORMANCE & TERMINATION

The Institute reserves the right to:

• Conduct periodic performance assessments
• Terminate enrolment in case of:
  • Poor performance
  • Non-compliance
  • Breach of terms

Any breach may result in forfeiture of deposit.

12. SPONSOR RESPONSIBILITY

The Sponsor:

• Must provide consent during admission
• Is responsible for supporting the Cadet financially throughout the Program

13. MARKETING & MEDIA CONSENT

By enrolling, the Cadet and Sponsor agree that:

• Photos, videos, and testimonials may be used for marketing purposes
• Content may be used across:
  • Website
  • Social media
  • Promotional materials

This consent is irrevocable and ongoing.

14. EXECUTION OF FORMAL AGREEMENT

The Cadet and Sponsor agree that:

• A tripartite agreement with Rian Air LLP must be executed on appropriate stamp paper prior to program commencement
• This agreement will govern:
  • Financial obligations
  • Training terms
  • Legal responsibilities

Failure to execute the agreement within the stipulated timeline may result in cancellation of enrolment and forfeiture of applicable payments.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Institute does not guarantee:

• DGCA exam results
• Flight training completion timelines
• Visa approvals
• Employment or airline placement

All outcomes depend on individual performance and external factors.

16. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts where Rian Air LLP is registered.

18. FINAL ACCEPTANCE

By selecting the checkbox and submitting the application:

• You confirm that you have read and understood these Terms
• You agree to be legally bound by them
• You agree to execute the formal agreement on stamp paper
